What is the Management Students' Society?
The Management Students’ Society (MSS) is the second largest student run organization on campus (after the Students Union). The primary goal of the MSS is to enhance your management degree by providing students with different opportunities to become involved outside of classes. Primary opportunities that are offered are academic/social events (most of which are available to ALL students), funding for external conferences, and a chance to become involved directly with the society to gain experience in your respected field of interest.
Why is it important to get involved?
In the today’s competitive job market it is important to differentiate yourself from the rest of the competition. Becoming directly or indirectly involved in MSS can help you do that!
Our different academic events give you an opportunity to obtain more knowledge than you would have gained from simply attending classes. Our social events give students a chance to network with fellow students and business professionals. Attending an external business conference is the best of both worlds; it provides you with a chance to gain knowledge and network with other students/professionals from across Canada.
Looking for even more experience? Become directly involved with MSS! There are plenty of opportunities to be the one actually planning, marketing and executing the events that we hold! Raising sponsorship and maintaining corporate relations and many more! For more information email info@ulethmss.com.
