Vice President Academic

Job Summary:
· The Vice President Academic is responsible forensuring student academic growth at the University of Lethbridge. Throughdeveloping events that help enhance an individual’s academic experience the VPAcademic must ensure students are gaining knowledge about relevant managementissues and ensuring their academic careers go beyond the classroom.
Responsibilities:
· Maintain and further develop relationships withall members of the faculty;
· Ensure faculty receives invites to all events ina timely manner;
· Aid in the planning of academic enhancingevents;
· Develop new opportunities that academicallyenhance a management students degree;
· Oversee the organization and execution of anInternal Case Competition;
· Attend monthly faculty council;
· Oversee the management of a database containinginformation on all undergraduate conferences and competitions available U of LManagement students. This entails maintaining open communication with theorganizers of the conferences as well as building awareness among the studentbody;
· Oversee PDP Program as MSS representative;
· Provide additional assistance to otherportfolios as necessary;
· Work closely with Executive Team in order torealize the goals of the organization;
· Perform duties assigned by the President;
· Ensure that MSS is represented in a professionalmanner at all times.

Vice President External

Job Summary:
· The Vice President External must focus ondeveloping and maintaining relationships with all sponsors. In addition the VPExternal must oversee the Conference Coordinator. All external contact must beoverseen and coordinated by the VP External. External Contact includessponsors, donors, community champions, other universities and their externals,conference coordinators, and general individuals who are not directly involvedor part of the University of Lethbridge

· Bring in new and maintain current sponsorshipfor events;
· Manage a team of corporate relations directorswho maintain relations with sponsors;
· Oversee 5 Days Lethbridge committee;

Job Summary:
· The Vice President of Events is in charge ofdeveloping and leading a team of 5-7 individuals who run various events. The VPEvents must ensure proper communication is taking place among portfolio andamong other Vice Presidents to ensure budgets are followed, events aremarketed, sponsors are utilized, and as a result events are run successfully.
Responsibilities:
· Oversee actions of all event directors;
· Foster communication amongst team;
· Coordinate with Risk & Safety for all clubevents;
· Provide additional assistance to otherportfolios as necessary;
· Work closely with Executive Team in order torealize the goals of the organization;

Vice President Finance

Job Summary:
· The Vice President Finance must focus of holdingand controlling the MSS Budget. They are expected to attend monthly meetingswith a Faculty of Management Accountant member and work toward the strategicallocation of Management Students’ Society funds.
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for recording and keeping allfinancial statements and matters of MSS up-to-date;
· Receive and dispense funds in accordance to thedecisions of the Executive. ThePresident and the Vice President must approve and oversee all financialtransactions regarding MSS funds;
· Responsible for coordinating with the Presidentin verifying and correcting of any and all financial discrepancies;
· Prepare a one-year budget, of consolidatedExecutive budgets, and financial statements for the MSS. As well as ensure that the Executives andCouncil will follow said budget. TheExecutive budgets are due, June 1 of the elected term;
· Responsible for reviewing all budgets andrequesting new budgets for events and other activities requiring financialarrangements one month prior to the event/activity depending on whether thereis a need to change the original budget;
· The Vice President Finance has signing authorityon all financial and banking procedures. The President as well as another VicePresident shall also maintain signing authority so that they may be the secondcosigner on all fund disbursements;
· Make and receive payments to and from members,organizations and any other individuals/groups with whom the MSS has financialdealings.
· Work with the Vice President Events to ensurethat costs are being controlled and expenses are paid in a timely manner;
· Provide additional assistance to otherportfolios as necessary;
· Work closely with Executive Team in order torealize the goals of the organization;

Job Summary:
· The Vice President Internal has theresponsibility of being aware of what is occurring within the University. Workwith MSS executive team and with the Students’ Union to enhance students’ MSSclub experience. They are also responsible for ensuring the internal growth ofthe MSS is successful and continuous.
Responsibilities:
· Plan a monthly social activity for generalcouncil;
· Work with president in planning the annualleadership retreat;
· Organize and chair all general council meetings;
· Oversee all communications to general council;
· Oversee recruitment for MSS;
· Organize rush week for both the fall and springsemesters;
· Attend monthly clubs council;
· Facilitate integration of team new members intoroles within the organization;
· Ensure all positions on council are filled;
· Maintain relationships with the SU through theManagement Rep;
· Oversee the election process;
· Provide additional assistance to otherportfolios as necessary;

· Work with team toward in promoting and sellingtickets for events;
· Development of all promotional materials forevents;
· Maintain consistent branding of theorganization;
· Oversee website operations;
· Oversee social media operations;
· Book atrium and table space;
· Management of the street team operations;
