Application Process

  1. Hear about the amazing conferences or competitions from teachers, the MSS website, word of mouth, etc!
  2. If there is one that interests you, create a letter of intent explaining who you are, how far along you are in your program, why you would like to go to the conference, how you hope it will benefit you, and what you think you will do to give back to the community from attending it. Send the letter of intent to conferences@ulethmss.com.
  3. You will be notified back whether or not you were accepted to attend the conference with MSS funding.
  4. Once you have been accepted, apply online at the conference’s website. Notify the Conference Coordinator once you have done so.
  5. Notify the Conference Coordinator of the Delegate fees…but don’t stop at MSS for funding! Contact LPIRG, as they can help too.
  6. Sign liability waivers, which will be provided to you.
  7. Attend the conference and HAVE FUN!
  8. Present to MSS your experience within 4 weeks after you arrived back from your conference.
